The new “Bailey Home” brings one of Pastor Les Bailey's dreams to reality.
The Bailey Home, a former church, is now a six-bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths, a full kitchen with accessories, and two washers and dryers.
This home will afford a maximum of ten occupants, including a resident “House Mother.
The Bailey Home operates within the mission of Helping Hands, as it will serve as a transitional home for single mothers with children.
With the addition of the latest two families consisting of mothers with children, the Bailey Home is now at capacity.

The Bailey Home is named to commemorate Albany Helping Hands founder, the late Pastor Les Bailey.
His faith in the Lord and Love for people molded his vision in the organization's building.

Your gifts helped provide two single moms and their kids a home of their own!
Your generosity allowed hiring a House Mother to mentor mothers and their children.
A live radio interview with Executive Director Pastor John Leon noted that the Bailey Home is now at capacity.
Pastor John also discussed hiring a new “House Mother” on the live worldwide broadcast that aired on Albany area station KGAL on June 17th, 2019.
Also discussed were the increased demand for services in the Summer months, the increased need for emergency housing for seniors, and some success stories.
