3 month Rolling Average of Meals Served Monthly

Graph 4 (right)

The 3 month rolling average chart (right) displaying the normal seasonal peak of close to 8000 meals monthly during the winter of 2016-17. The typical trend is for the count to drop around 1,500 meals month to the lower 6,000 range as was the case in the Summer of 2016.

However, 2017 is not following the normal trend. Instead of a dropping demand as spring approached, the meal count increased in February and March.  The need decreased only slightly in the spring and summer with AHH providing 11% more hot meals than the 2016 rate.
