  • Central to regaining self-sufficiency is the improvement of basic academic and employment skills including learning skills improvement, reading improvement, writing skills improvement, math skills improvement, high school completion and career employment skills.

  •  Training Opportunities Stage helps students define a career path, identify and eliminate any barriers to employment, complete job readiness activities and learn job search techniques. We offer in-house training programs in kitchen and food preparation, janitorial, maintenance, retail sales, farming, wood cutting, lawn maintenance and office technology.

Helping Hands is the only stable, on-going emergency shelter in the area. As more people fall into homelessness, the consequences to the community are severe. It is our goal to continue to support the homeless during this very critical time. Linn and Benton County residents are very dependent on the emergency housing and meals we provide. We want to offer them more. We want to offer them a way out of homelessness.
