Pastor Megan Good from the Albany Mennonite Church reports that last nights (Tuesday, December 15, 2015) spaghetti dinner held at the church as a fundraiser for Albany Helping Hands was a big success.

"The Dinner exceeded our expectations by a long shot. We raised $5600.00." according to Pastor Good who also in addition to her pastoral duties is a dedicated volunteer every Friday at the Shelter.

A special thank you to young brothers Jakoby and Nolan Baker, who bless their young hearts, got the church fundraiser ball rolling.  The funds will be utilized to help fund the purchase of new metal bunk beds for Albany Helping Hands.

Thank you Jill and Bill Baker, for your work on this project and your parenting of the two God Loving Children.

Thanks to the Albany Democrat Herald who published a one third page article on December 12th about the boys fundraiser for Albany Helping Hands.

Thanks to Pastor Good, the great folks at the church and all who attended or donated to this cause.
