Did you know that Albany Helping Hands accepts donated cars, vans, trucks, trailers, RV’s, Farm Tractors, Implements, Boats, ATV’s and more?

Old or New, we will take your tax deductible vehicle as a donation to support a local cause.

By giving locally to Albany Helping Hands, you help provide work for our shelter guests.

We fix up (if needed) and resell these donated assets, contributing to our operating income for the shelter and soup kitchen helping to fund our critical mission and ministry.

WHAT BECOMES OF THE FUNDS?

The proceeds from wood sales help fund critical community missions including providing emergency housing and hot meals three times a day, totally over 80,000 meals a year.

In addition to the Keep Warm Woodlot, Albany Helping Hands also provides training and employment for shelter guests operating a Thrift Store, Garden Market & Farm, Pasture Feed Chicken Ranch, and Vehicle Resale and Estate Cleanup units.

Helping Hands also offers GED Training at the new GED Training Classroom, housing searches, transitional jobs programs, mental health referrals, counseling, clothing, household needs, furniture and more for those in need in our community.
