    What Becomes Of The Funds?

    The proceeds from wood lot sales help fund critical community missions including providing emergency housing and hot meals three times a day, totally over 80,000 meals a year.

    In addition to the Keep Warm Woodlot, Albany Helping Hands also provides training and employment for shelter guests operating a Thrift Store, Garden Market & FarmPasture Feed Chicken Ranch, and Vehicle Resale and Estate Cleanup units.

    Helping Hands also offers GED Training at the new GED Training Classroom, housing searches, transitional jobs programs, mental health referrals, counseling, clothing, household needs, furniture and more for those in need in our community. 

    Donations are greatly appreciated. You can securely make your donation online with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card.

    Also you can drop off your contribution at the shelter at 619 SE Ninth Avenue, Albany, OR 97322.
