What Becomes Of The Funds?
The proceeds from firewood sales and other Albany Helping Hands operations help fund critical local community missions, including providing housing and hot meals three times a day, totaling over 60,000 meals a year.
In addition to the proceeds from the sales at the Keep Warm Woodlot, Albany Helping Hands also provides training and employment for shelter guests operating a Thrift Store and U-Haul Rental Dealership.
Helping Hands also offers housing searches, mental health referrals, counseling, clothing, household needs, furniture, and more for those in need.
